22 ROOMS is a collaboration between vocalist/composer Jessie Rivest and dancer Hailey McCloskey. Drawing inspiration from a random selection of tarot cards, the artists explore archetypes through sound and movement, bringing them to life.

An amateur comedy group in Kelowna, BC with all comedy sketches written and performed by local goofballs. Similar to the format of Saturday Night Live, Sketch Us plays with themes of relationships, quirky characters, collaborative storytelling, and misdirection.

CELESTIAL FOREST

This meditation/ambient style band features Jessie Rivest on vocals and Connor Hargreaves on hand pan, flute, drum, or guitar. They are sometimes joined by other sound healers, friends, and instrumentalists, sharing intuitive song to raise the frequency.

PSOUNDS is an immersive public art exhibition that reimagines everyday spaces as portals to multiple POVs or “points of sound”. Jessie Rivest invites the community to explore sound through interactive QR codes placed at various Kelowna locations.

VOICE OF JOOPITER

voice of joopiter is an avatar of Jessie Rivest who channels expansive songs, messages, and noises from the cosmos. These vocal transmissions draw from planets, guides, ancestors, and angels, primarily in light language.

Ripple Effect is a former barbershop mixed quartet, the first from Canada to medal at the BinG! World Mixed competition, earning a bronze medal in 2018.

THE ELEMENT CHOIR

The Element Choir, led by Christine Duncan in Toronto, is an improvising ensemble using conduction cues to shape both structured and free elements. The group explores texture, timbre, soundscapes, rhythm, sound poetry, and extended vocal techniques.

That Choir, founded by Artistic Director Craig Pike, is one of Toronto’s most exciting professional a cappella ensembles. The group combines high-calibre performance with storytelling, presenting contemporary choral series, tours, and professional development projects.

A dynamic event featuring music, art, poetry, and interactive performances. Guests connected through a creative "network net," shared ideas, and enjoyed artful food, drinks, and community inspiration.

A Newcomer's Guide to Toronto Arts
2016 - Toronto, ON

A guidebook designed to make Toronto’s arts scene accessible to newcomers, showcasing diverse organizations and free or affordable cultural experiences across the city. Featured in Toronto Metro news, over 1,000 copies were distributed to community centres throughout the GTA. Created by: Colleen Munro, Adam Moffatt, Camille Dziewurski, Jessie Rivest, and Elizabeth Ferguson.

Image Poetry Series
2015 - Toronto, ON

A collaboration blending poetry and photography, featuring seven poems paired with evocative images. The series inspired lyrics for Toronto musicians and was used to promote events like Buddies in Bad Times Theatre's "Guilty Pleasures" cabaret fundraiser.

Directed by Jessie Rivest in partnership with photographer Tamica Marcano.
